Chances are, yes, your remote control is supported. As long as your remote control supports infrared, Flirc will be able to learn this device.
Flirc does not work with RF based remotes like the boxee remote control.
There are few known remotes that are not supported, these are occasionally microsoft remote controls which use a non-standard frequency.
Some of the unsupported remote controls are listed below:
- XBox Remote Control
- Sky Media Remote Control
- Xfinity XR2 Version U2
- Xfinity XR5 v4
- Xfinity XR2 v3-R
- (You can assume Xfinity remotes currently don't work, currently evaluating effort of support)
Is the Sky Tv (Sky UK) remote supported? See link here: https://goo.gl/CEdL68. In addition, can you connect this to a fire tv and program a sky tv remote to use on the fire tv?

We are using the FLIRC device. I have a lot of users in the UK that try to use the Sky UK set top box. It sounds like this isn't supported. Has that changed? Are there plans to support it? Can you give a brief explanation on the issues with the Sky devices so I can share that with my end user?
